I found this funny and I think it makes a great partner to lol cats, it wouldn't have been funny without the cultural reference that has become so infectious. I don't think it's belittling, it's just playing off this weird obsession we seem to have with anthropomorphizing animals.

Astute observations. Some, pretty funny. I recommend adding to that the fact that most cats do not like being dressed up, dolled up, ornamented nor their fur dyed. A wet cat, as strange as it may look, is not a funny cat.
