I live in the States but my parents are from Hong Kong. I've been there a good number of times. It is crowded, yes, but it is also a pretty amazing and exciting place to live.

This is my idea of hell ! I just read that unlike other countries more women than men commit suicide in China...plenty of places to jump off from! I'd just curl up and die if I had to live there.Human beings are not meant to live like that. I feel so sad and disturbed ! I live in a forest at the foot of a mountain by the sea.I felt lucky but now I know I'm more than lucky ! I'm blessed with heaven on earth !

Hey I grew up in HK and I didn't feel suicide. Lots of kids to play with. In some way it's better than America where I live now. A gated community, drive my car into the garage and walk into my home. No need to say hi to anybody, everybody lives in his own shell.

I am a Honky - It's stunning pictures that you have there. However, that is only one side of Hong Kong! Indeed HK is a very small city with lots of population. On the bright side, that's mean we have lots of energy floating around the city; lots of opportunities; different variety of people to live close to each other etc. I am not saying its either good or bad! Every places have their uniqueness.

I believe i can take some photos of Dog Shit close up around Paris and show to everyone and said that's Paris to me.

I am expecting some mountain close up shots of HK from you.

Very nice photos tho!

I live in Hong Kong and personally I love it here.
Yes it might be slightly crowded but you have to realise that most of these buildings are either public housing or industrial buildings. Public housing are really jammed packed, but when you go and look at private housing, flats are much more spaced out and not tight. Going out to the country side, other islands and villages, its almost identical to normal housing in the US or Canada with spacious houses and big gardens.

Beautiful people in a very interesting city. When I was there I saw the kindness of people who wanted to share their heritage.
